Obituary for Gale Sadler Amwake

Gale Sadler Amwake (nee Arrison), age 72 died on May 4, 2019.  Gale graduated from West Deptford High School in 1965.  She lived in Woodbury most of her life and worked for Woodbury Hardware for many years.  Gale was a member of the American Legion Post #133 for many years where she enjoyed playing the Pull Tab machines.  She also loved scratch off lottery tickets.

Survived by her husband of 37 years, David Amwake, daughter Kelley (David) O’Hara, brothers Jim (Sherri) Arrison, Jack Kelly, niece Shannan Kelly, great niece Quinn Butler and her beloved cats Reds, Summer and Tigger.  She was predeceased by her son Jason Sadler.

Friends may greet the family on Friday after 5pm in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ.  Words of Remembrance will be at 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any animal shelter of the donor’s choice. Memories may be shared at www.buddfuneralhome.com.
