Obituary for Wayne Harold Quesada, Sr.

Wayne Harold Quesada, Sr., age 76 died on November 17, 2017. Raised in Westville, NJ, Wayne graduated from Woodbury High School in 1960. Wayne lived in Deptford for many years and moved back to Westville four years ago. While in high school, Wayne served in the US Naval Reserves, after which he joined the Army, where he served in Germany until 1964. After the Army, Wayne served in the New Jersey National Guard for four periods of service, the last of which ended in 1980. Wayne was a veteran of the Woodbury and Deptford Township police departments, retiring as Sergeant after many years with Deptford. Wayne was a former President of the FOP Deptford Lodge #72, a Freemason, and a member of the American Legion. He bred and showed Tennessee Walking Horses and was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association.

Survived by his son Wayne H. Jr. (Karen); sister Lynn (Robert) Bowman; grandchildren Damian, Giselle, Renée, and Roman Quesada; nieces Tricia, Nicole, and Tia; great nieces Davi Lynn, Ava, and Reese; and great nephews Tyler and Andrew..

Friends may greet the family after 9am on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave. (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Fisher House Foundation. Memories may be shared at www.buddfuneralhome.com.
