Obituary for Leonard Bukenas

Leonard Bukenas, age 74 died on September 12, 2017. Leonard lived in West Deptford most of his life and was a graduate of Woodbury High School in 1961. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Leonard was self employed all his life. He owned and operated a Texaco Gas Station and Brothers II Restaurant in West Deptford. He also became a Real Estate Agent and owned Red Bank Realty in Woodbury. He was a member of the Woodbury Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Army Navy Union Garrison #52 in National Park. Survived by his wife of 47 years Helene E. (nee Barthold), daughters Lisa D’Averso and her husband James, Natalie Patten and her husband Andrew, brother Tony Bukenas and grandchildren Sydney, Nathan, Quinn, Samuel, Jaclyn and Ginger. Friends may greet the family on Monday after 11am in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave. (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ. Memorial service will be at 12:30pm. Interment private. Memories may be shared at www.buddfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate.
