Obituary for Harry Van Horn, Jr.

Harry Van Horn, Jr., age 75, died on June 9, 2018 at his home in National Park, NJ where he lived for many years. Raised in Woodbury, Harry graduated from Woodbury High School in 1960. Harry served in the US Army from 1962-1965. He worked for NAVSES in the Philadelphia Naval Yard over 25 years. Harry was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the NRA, the Square Circle Sportsman Club and the Quinton Sportsman Club. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Avellino, grandchildren Robert Potter, III, Branden
Potter Sr. and Samantha, Brianna Potter, great grandson Branden Potter Jr. , sister Joan Smith, niece Rachel Smith, nephew Ken Smith and great niece Emilie Dean.

Memorial Service will be 11:00am on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery Pavilion, 240 S. Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ. Memories may be shared at www.buddfuneralhome.com. Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veteran's, at www.dav.org.
